MG ZS (2017-2024) Electronic Steering Column Lock Programming

The MG ZS Electronic Steering Column Lock (ESCL) has a tendency to fall out of synchronization following battery failure or mechanical repair on the steering column. When the vehicle detects these events, it enters into a security lock up that is often irreversible.
